Product Leadership is founded upon a belief that we should consistently drive value from opportunity. We believe that business value comes from providing end customer value, and that excellent Product Leadership demands equal parts discipline and creativity, evidence
and professional judgement and a consistent commitment to asking the difficult questions. At Somo we partner with you to develop strong Product Leadership, embracing agile methodologies in order to rapidly unlock the value from your business opportunities.
Product is still a relatively new discipline, finding its way in the professional world. It’s far from reaching maturity in the sense of being a stable, consistently understood skill set. It’s origins date back to the first half of the 20th century*, but it’s taken on a huge new significance in the world of software products, in particular with the evolution of agile development as a contemporary norm. And yet I often see organisations struggling to provide Product Leadership within their teams effectively.

It’s a belief or judgment about something that we feel is right or wrong. Opinions aren’t always based on fact or truth, but they’re always personal.
